No! There are a limited number of manufacturers that are licensed to supply automotive glass. These manufactures supply the automotive industry with approved glass that has a safety stamp etched in. Glass that does not have the AS/NZS 2080:2006 (or international equivalent) is not approved automotive glass.

Yes. In Australia all automotive glass MUST have a stamp etched into the glass that meets current AS/NZ Standards.

Yes. We carry many stock sizes for many years, makes and models of classic cars, muscle cars, imported cars and Hot Rods. If you don’t see what you need on our website please contact us to check on availability as there are so many makes and models that it is simply impossible to list every piece we are able to supply.

We currently have templates for approximately 8000 makes and models of cars and are adding to our inventory all the time. Check out our store or contact us as there is a good chance we will be able to assist.

If the glass in the vehicle is flat we can show you how to make a template from the existing glass, or you can send us the old window glass and we can produce the glass to fit it. Providing it is wrapped carefully, tempered/toughened glass will very rarely break during transit. Feel free to contact us to discuss this process further.

Yes, however there are a few things to be aware of.

Maybe you have completed a chop top on a later model car with curved side glass, or you want to do a vent-delete/one-piece door window. In custom cases such as these, where a curve is required in any glass, especially in a size or shape that we do not already have in stock, the process can be quite expensive. It is also a very time-consuming process and may require several months to complete from start to finish. Contact us if you would like to discuss the process in more depth.

Again, the short answer is ‘yes’, but depending on the shape/curve of the glass, the expected completion time can vary quite a lot and needs to be taken into consideration.

If you own a Vintage car, Classic car or Hot Rod with a flat front windscreen, we can supply this in a timely manner.

As soon as any curve is required in glass, in a size or shape that we do not already have in stock (e.g., chop top front/rear windscreens) the production process is incredibly labour-intensive and time-consuming.

Many customers tell us that they have “just removed 3 inches” from the roof or that the windscreen “will only require the top 3 inches removed.” Experience tells us that this is generally not the case because the shape/curve often changes slightly throughout the process no matter how careful they have been, and unfortunately the process just isn’t that simple.

Custom front and rear windscreens take extra time and expense to produce given the need for steel jigs to be made and additional mould checks to be carried out to achieve the correct curve and fit for the altered opening.

Yes! However, you will need to make a template for us to use.

The template is best made from 6mm MDF as it best replicates glass and is easy to cut and shape.

It is important that all templates are made with the actual bailey channels installed and that the template is fitted with the seal if one is required (for fixed windows).

The template should also be fitted to the window runners or power window kit and wound up and down to check for fit. It is easy to make alterations to the MDF at this stage. Remember, if the template doesn’t slide easily, the glass won’t either.

We cut all glass by CNC machine and it will be mm-perfect to the template supplied.

Yes! Power window kits often require additional glass at the bottom to attach to. Unless the top has been chopped, all we need you to tell us is how much to add to the bottom of the window. Otherwise, a stock template will work just fine. This applies only to flat glass as we are unable to alter the moulds for curved glass.

If the glass is in stock we will dispatch within 2-3 working days.

If glass needs to be manufactured, dispatch will usually take 15-20 business days.

If your glass is extremely labour-intensive or custom, it may take us extra time to get this just right and we will give you an estimated time prior to commencement of the job.
