HQ HJ HX Holden Coupe Monaro window guide reliner
This fuzzy mohair reliner is used cover the small guides that sit down inside the door and press up against the window. The original lining is usually badly worn and results in scratching up your new (or original) windows. A common hack in the past was to use seatbelt webbing but it’s still too coarse and risks scratching the windows. This simply requires gluing onto the original metal bracket (it’s alright to go straight over the old lining instead of struggling to get it off). A good quality brush on contact adhesive will work well. Be sure to wrap the new lining over the top and bottom and glue on the back side. Do NOT cut it flush with the top and bottom edges.
